God Loves You, Period!

There are many people in the world today who are dealing with tough times. In the news we are being constantly bombarded with more and more troubling information about the economy on a global basis. We all know that newscasters are only reporting the facts from their perspective. While we can be sure that tough times are apparent it does not have to get us depressed or discouraged. We can boldly say this because there is a Greater One who has a large investment in what takes place in the earth today. The specific investment I am speaking about is the Blood of Jesus Christ. This Blood is precious for two major reasons. The first being, invaluable - it washed men and women as clean as snow, it is the Blood of Christ that washed us from all our sins. Another reason this Blood is precious is rarity (the only one of it’s kind) because the power of His Blood is hidden from man’s understanding as a whole. This crimson Blood of Jesus shed for the whole wide world is in fact the Love of God unto all mankind. Believers in God and even unbelievers about God need to understand that God Loves You, Period! Yes, God’s Love is not based on our good works, nor is it based on our position in Christ. Notice John 3:16-17

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. KJV

In verse 16 we can see that God loved us even before we were born. That means God loves us while we are upon the earth and God will continue loving us after we leave this earth. The fact of the matter is that God is Love according to 1 John 4:16. As people we tend to think of love as something we do, however that is not an accurate picture of God’s Love. Remember that God is Love so understanding that no matter what you are doing or ever shall do God is (and shall be) loving you at that very moment. We know that may take some time to comprehend. You must sincerely understand that whenever you think about God you can smile because you know that you are loved. Why? Because you are a good Christian? No. Maybe, because you are a very religious person? No. Maybe because you do a lot of good deeds? No. Maybe, because you are just being yourself? Yes. Now you understand when God is Loving you He is just being Himself! Amen!
